This polyamide is of plant origin, commonly known as a bio-plastic. Made from renewable resources, use of this material demonstrates a high level of environmental responsibility. In addition, the Robusto series ties have external serration and stand out thanks to their rounded shape and the innovation of their low-profile head with one or two flexible locking pawls.Robusto ties deliver the following technical benefits:• low insertion force: can be fitted by hand (fixing tool not needed for installation),• high tensile strength• flexibility allows ties to follow more closely the external shape of the bundle of cable strands being supported, and allows simple handling without risk of damage to the cables,• high UV resistance allowing long-term use out-of-doors,• stable mechanical properties even at very low temperatures,• strong resistance to chemical agents, particularly the chlorides which can be created by acid rain falling on galvanised steel,• very low humidity absorption which ensures consistent and persistent properties over time.
